Platform APIs identify the runtime environment and expose application-level helpers.

Command line

• Command Line - Reads process arguments and application object handles.

Runtime platform

• RuntimePlatformId - Returns the runtime platform constant for the current process.
• RuntimePlatformIsWeb - Checks whether the runtime is WASM or WASI.
• Runtime platform constants - Named integer values returned by RuntimePlatformId.

Compiler directives

• Platform compiler directives - Conditional-compilation symbols that identify the target platform at compile time.
