Release Notes¶
Every release of the DataFlex TechStack gets its own entry, listed below with the newest release first. Nothing is archived away: an entry stays on this list once it is published.
Entries appear roughly every month and cover whatever shipped in that period — a large release or a handful of small fixes. New toolchain installers are made available every month with new features, bug fixes, and other improvements, so there is normally something to report.
Each release carries two independent version numbers, so both appear in the overview: the DataFlex Windows + Studio build number, which counts up along the established mainline, and the TechStack toolchains version, written as <version>+<platform>-<arch>. One toolchain version has several platform builds, which is why a single release lists native-64, native-32 and wasm-32 against the same version. Toolchains explains both version schemes in full.
These notes describe what changed. The Roadmap describes what is available, per platform, right now. When you want to know whether you can use something today, read the roadmap; when you want to know what moved, open the release below.
The TechStack is a Technical Preview
DataFlex 27.0 delivers the TechStack as a Technical Preview: it is meant for exploration, testing and feedback, not for production applications. Keep production work on the current stable DataFlex release. See the Roadmap for what is released today and on which platforms.
